SIR State RV Committee

The SIR State RV Committee is made up of volunteer SIR members from throughout the SIR Organization with an interest in recreational vehicles (RVs).

The objectives of the SIR State RV Committee are to:

1. Identify members in all SIR Branches that are interested in Recreational Vehicles (RV’ing) with other SIR members or benefiting from information provided by the SIR State RV Committee.

2. Create SIR RV Clubs in SIR Branches, Areas and Regions where RV interest exists. Provide Guidelines, support and suggestions to SIR Branches, Areas and Regions wishing to establish RV clubs.

3. Promote and encourage Joint Outings among the various SIR RV clubs.

4. Publish in the SIR State Happenings information about SIR RV Activities.

5. Maintain for SIR clubs use, a listing of RV parks that have been used by our SIR clubs along with comments about the facilities and staff.

6. Provide to SIR clubs and members information provided to the SIR State RV Committee regarding special rates or offers made by campgrounds, RV stores, RV service providers.

7. Establish a sub committee to study how a State wide SIR RV Rally can be planned and conducted without the burden of planning and execution being places on just one SIR RV club.

8. Identify at least one RV point of contact in each Region or Area.
