The 96ers are a SIR sponsored RV
Group currently made up of members and their spouses from SIR Branch 96 and are
mostly from the Amador County area. The 96ers club is open to all SIR members
and other Retired people who are interested in SIR and Group RV
Activities.
RV ACTIVITIES
The 96ers have several outings
each year. They are generally held in the late Spring,
Summer and Fall. However, on occasion the Club will have outings in the month
of March (like an outing to Baseball Spring Training). Outing can be four to
seven days in duration and often starts on Sunday and finishes before the
following weekend. Activities at each Outing generally include the following:
Happy
Hour: A happy hour is set aside each day before the evening meal for
socializing.
Pot
Luck Dinner: Potluck dinners are planned during the outing.
Dinner: One
dinner is generally catered at the park or we go to a
nearby restaurant.
Breakfast:
We often have a group breakfast.
Bingo: We
play bingo.
Cards: The
ladies and men play several card games during the day and evening.
Games: Many
games are played (Mexican Train, Bocce, Putting contest, Darts, etc.)
Golf: Several
members play golf at a local course near the RV Park.
